2008 Honda Accord

283546 miles 2nd owner Note: the car has an ABS/brake/AVS light on dashboard. The ABS went last year. I inquired a mechanic who said it would be ~$1,000 to replace and i didnt want to put the money into it. The mechanic said the car is safe, just would have to be aware if you began to slide on ice or snow (pump brakes manually). The car makes a light squeaking nose as it idols. The mechanic said it is the Cam rubbing, that it cannot be fixed, and that it may only affect the gas mileage (spent 800$ to find this out). Power steering is a little stiff when in the parking lot, another thing that doesnt bother me. There is a rip in the drivers seat cushion (could likely be repaired with self repair kit). Did all the oil changes myself. Does not leak oil. New rear calipers last year as well as brakes. Front brakes and rotors done recently. Replaced cabin and engine filter recently. Have some of the more recent paperwork from mechanic. Replaced alternator last year and the tensioner. Weathertech floor mats throughout. This was my everyday vehicle until today.
