Sold as is. rear doors do close. The storage aspect is 11”. The over hang 3’8” x 7’5” w. Behind the cab seats it’s 3’4” x 7’5” comes with California lien documents which we sign over to you showing you are the new owner.

Although I have never personally gotten a vehicle towed with this company, I would never trust them with my vehicle. I work near their location and their drivers are ALWAYS driving EXTREMELY fast on Armour street, so fast I can't even see a license plate number. It's dangerous, there are parking stalls on the street and they could easily hit someone pulling in or out of a parking space, not to mention this area has a lot of pedestrians walking. Also, my boss used their services to tow his car and it came back with thousands of dollars worth of damage, more than what it was being towed for and ended up having to get a new car. Based on the previous reviews and how fast they are driving, I wouldn't trust them with your vehicle.

I'd leave zero stars if I could for "Star" Towing. My son parked my car in a place near Belmont Park on a Saturday night, it was towed by Star Towing to their yard. I went to pick it up the next day, which would be LESS than even 1 day, but they consider it one day even if they were to tow the car at 11:59PM, as midnite is the cut off point. So they considered that TWO days of storage, including an additional gate fee because it's the weekend even though they are open 24 hours and someone is always there. It's not like they had to make a special trip to open the gate. So, basically for less than a day, I was charged $486.45, even though the law states that they cannot charge more than the City of San Diego charges to tow vehicles. SDPD towing fees are $178 for a car of my type, and $41 a day for storage, which even if there were additional charges for being the weekend, would still make it FAR less than I was gouged by this company. Clearly this is a rip off and there's little you can do as they hold your car hostage, except to pay the fees they ask, and then take them to small claims and/or write a bad review. The time and energy to try to recover their overcharge makes the latter the most feasible.

Though I appreciate you responding to my review, you really didn't address anything I wrote. Regardless of whether it's SDPD or the CHP that "approve towing rates", the fact remains that you did not post what those rates are and that no towing company should EXCEED those rates, and I would just love for you to explain how you figure that charging $486.45 for a few hours in your yard is acceptable?

And I left out the fact that my son actually called you right after you towed the car, and your employee quoted him around $238, which is bad enough. But to then have you charge over TWICE that when we got up there to pick it up is just shady business practice. Perhaps I should actually take this case to small claims as I am certain I am not the only one that you've done this to.

These guys are the worst tow company around they towed my car and stole about $600 dollars of tool and on top of that they price gouged the hell out of me they wanted $500 buck to tow a carc 2 miles and the he she at the front desk is rude and super disrespectful I highly recommend you do not use there thrives to tow any of your cars and they also left a huge scratch down the side of my truck there earring speaks for it self I would be zero stars if it could be. I wish this company the worst in the future they earned it. Star towing you suck.

I just got my car towed 20 minutes ago. It was in a Jack in the box parking lot, although being a customer, still got it towed. I just got off the phone with Maurice and he was absolutley rude. I asked him how much would they charge considering it’s only been there for 20-30 minutes, and he told me $470. After asking if they charged per night, he completely dodged the question and continued to say $470. He was very passive, cold, and harsh. I understand it’s late in the evening, however, from an unlawful towing, you still have the audacity to speak to someone like that? It’s insane, I’m definitely filing a small lawsuit.

Had Porsche of San Diego arrange my car to be dropped off in LA.

Star Towing shows up at my house with my car in perfect condition, wheels tied the proper way to not damage the wheels.

Kader the driver was very professional, on time and babied my car.

He definitely knows how to transport high end, low clearance cars.

He even guided me into my driveway for thefirst time.
