Up for sale is a 1978 Jayco pop up tent trailer with a hard side conversion to a permanent ‘canned ham’ retro style trailer. Fully custom built one of a kind. Has 1960s louvered windows that all function properly. Freshly built, spartan interior with queen size bed on platform underneath for storage. Two bench seats with storage and a removal table. One mini cabinet/ table (future spot for a sink). Snap in wood flooring with new half inch sub floor. Half inch sides, fully framed with quarter inch ceiling for radius bends. 10’ long trailer, roughly 7 feet tall from floor to ceiling provides ample space for standing. Tows well, standard 2” ball hitch. Will need exterior finished with either sheet-metal or other material. I planned on Cedar shiplap for the sides with a continuous sheet of Filon (modern Rv fiberglass) over the front, top and rear. Comes with all the insulation that will be needed, skylight window for installation in over bed area if desired, hinges and hardware for bed, extra flooring. Aluminum diamond plates for front corner covers included. Clean title in my name, ran out of time to build. Has been kept dry over the winter. Will need to be kept covered in wet weather until exterior is finished. Lots of solid wood and hours went into this project, would love to see someone finish it. Please shoot me any questions, thanks
