For sale is a great set of 1890 to 1894 Indian Head Cents. The Indian Head Cent ran from 1859 to 1909 before being replaced by the Lincoln Wheat Cent. It changed size, weight, and metal composition a couple times making it a very interesting coin. The great thing about this set is not only are they dates that are fairly early in the series, which are always the most sought-after, but the 1894 is a key date of the series because they only minted 16.7 million coins, which is considered very small for Cent minting. As you can see from the pics the coins are in really nice shape, and all 5 coins would come in as nice VG grades, which is definitely nice to find Indian Heads in. All lettering, dates, and images are nice and clear. Some portions of the letters in LIBERTY on the obverse are visible, which is the first thing to wear off on Indian Heads. None of the coins have any excessive damage or signs of cleaning. This is a great set of coins at a great price. Thanks!
