Listed for $1100 fonline (see last pic). I’m asking less than half the value for this quality piece! Price firm. Antique Glider rocking chair. I believe this is quarter sawn pressed tiger oak wood. The high back has beautiful wood grain swirls and is solid bent wood. Intricate carved sides and front. Wood and cast iron gliding parts. Gliding mechanisms intact. Sturdy piece, it is not rickety. Original springs. Reupholstered cushion is comfortable. Fabric is navy suede like. Gold/brass colored metal upholstery buttons around trim of cushion. No snags, smells, stains. Comes with 2 original wood wheels that were removed and replaced with felt furniture slides on all 4 feet. There is also the original label (ripped) showing that it was made by Wiconsin Chair Co in Port Washington, WI. Metal part on glider says 88. This company manufactured chairs in the late 1800s. I believe it was made in 1888. This makes the chair ~ 130 years old. This chair is in beautiful condition. Give some style to your nursery, living room or office. Pick up in Tacoma
