It’s in excellent cosmetic condition—no stains, rips, or odors, and comes from a non-smoking home. The couch was covered since purchase, and the pull-out bed was only used three times (always with clean sheets). Functions and works great! But, has a Factory Defect (Full Transparency): There is an issue with the pull-out bed mechanism: a metal bar that connects the bed to the sofa frame was missing a screw when it arrived from the factory. Because of this, the slot that holds the bed in place was damaged, so one side of the bed needs to be carefully aligned when pulling it out or pushing it back in. Without extra support, that side of the bed will rest on the floor and the seat may sag. We’ve added wood supports to hold the bracket in place, and the bed and sofa are fully usable as they are. However, someone handy could make a more permanent repair if desired. (Please see photos for a detailed look at the issue and our fix.)
