Very good condition 1889 Martin 2 1/2-17. No breaks. All original with the exception of the changed bridge and tuners. All top cracks pictured have been repaired and glued, and are solid. One back crack has been repaired and glued as well. Original bar frets play very well and have life left for sure. The high e string was off when this guitar reached me, so I have left it off as I would assume the buyer would want their own selection of strings on this example. As you would expect from a guitar this old, the wood has had plenty of time to open up, and has a very nice low-mid attack that every example of this model I have owned has. Incredible for fingerstyle playing, but takes a pick quite well with the right strings. No loose braces. Neck is nice and straight, and the intonation is on. Comes with pictured hard shell case. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
