Description
This 1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR was acquired by the seller July 2023 and subsequent work consisted of repairing and repainting the aerodynamic body kit, servicing the fuel system and tuning the engine, installing tires, repairing the headlights, sound system, and electrical components, and replacing the Sparco seats, harnesses, ignition system, hood hinges, and turn signal stalk. The Hennessey Venom 650R package was installed under prior ownership, which included an increase in displacement for the V10 engine to 514ci along with revised engine internals, enlarged throttle bodies, a high-flow intake manifold, upgraded engine management software, and long-tube exhaust headers. A carbon fiber hood and door inserts, a rear differential cooler, and Brembo disc brakes were also fitted. A twin turbocharger system was added in May 2014 and the car is finished in silver over black and gray upholstery. Equipment includes a six-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, staggered-diameter HRE wheels, Brembo four-wheel slotted disc brakes, Penske adjustable coilovers, a roll bar, a fire-suppression system, Sparco bucket seats, and an MGW short-throw shifter. This Viper shows 12k miles and is offered in California with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller's LLC. The car is finished in silver and Hennessey aerodynamic bodywork includes revised front and rear bumper covers and a rear wing with a Gurney flap. Additional exterior details include a removable carbon-fiber vented hood, driving lights, a double-bubble roof, an ACR-branded polished fuel filler cap, and twin central exhaust outlets. Work under current ownership consisted of repairing and repainting the front splitter, replacing the hood pins, and refinishing the hood, rear diffuser, and wing. Black-accented HRE 546 wheels wear Hennessey center caps and are mounted with 275/35 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S front and 335/30 Michelin Pilot Super Sport rear tires that were installed recently. Braking is handled by Brembo four-wheel discs with two-piece slotted rotors on all four corners. The car is not equipped with a parking brake and the suspension features Penske adjustable coilovers. The Sparco bucket seats are trimmed in gray and black upholstery and were replaced under current ownership. Features include a roll bar, a fire-suppression system, an MGW short-throw shifter, Venom-branded door sills, an ACR center console plaque, air conditioning, a Pioneer head unit, and a rear-mounted aftermarket amplifier and subwoofer. The Motec system is disconnected. Work under current ownership is said to consist of servicing the air conditioning system, reconditioning the carpet, repairing electrical components and the sound system, and replacing the five-point harnesses, turn signal stalk, and floor mats. A three-spoke airbag steering wheel fronts instrumentation that includes a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, centrally positioned auxiliary gauges, a column-mounted AutoMeter boost-pressure gauge, and an Innovate air/fuel ratio gauge mounted in the passenger airbag cover. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 1,500 of which have been added by the seller. The Venom 650R package consisted of enlarging the V10 displacement to 514ci using forged aluminum pistons, high-performance piston rings and bearings, modified wrist pins, and a replacement crankshaft and connecting rods. Additional features include enlarged throttle bodies, a high-flow intake manifold, revised engine management software, and long-tube exhaust headers. In May 2014, Torq Speedlab of Miramar, Florida, installed a twin-turbocharger system with twin Comp Turbo CTS billet turbochargers, a Bell air-to-air intercooler, Turbosmart wastegates, Turbonetics blow-off valves, and a ROE fuel rail kit. Work at A&C Performance of Murrieta, California in October 2023 consisted of replacing the fuel lines and spark plugs, installing a Fuel Lab fuel filter, an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and a billet fuel module with dual Walboro fuel pumps, and tuning the ECU. The car has not passed a California emissions test and a chassis dyno sheet is displayed in the gallery. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential that is fitted with a cooler. call James 9494320132
