Description
Flour Power; Two Vintage 1930s-40s Anchor Hocking Ribbed Hoosier Jars with Original Lids: These beautiful 80+ year old Hoosier jars were made by Anchor Hocking in the 1930s-40s. They would’ve gone inside a Hoosier and would’ve been used to store flour, sugar, or other dry goods. They are in beautiful shape with no chips, cracks, or breaks. The glass is a dead giveaway that they’re older as the glass is “wavier” in appearance meaning it was spun rather than pressed. One of the lids is a bit more weathered than the other but these are excellent examples of General Store/Rustic/Primitive decor and can still be used . Each one is approximately 8” H x 23” Around with a 4.5” Opening at the top. Yes, they do make reproductions of these but they really is no comparison since these are made way better and have a better looking aesthetic. They are being sold as a pair for $55 FIRM. These tend to sell for close to $40 for one at antique shops. Finding these in great condition is on the border of next to impossible because they’re glass and glass breaks. Message me for more information. No holds, shipping, or deliveries. No exceptions.
