Description

One slightly used 120 volt spot welder. I got it to make lithium battery packs out of 18650 batteries. Works awesome. Way better than those little rechargeable ones. You can just keep welding huge packs and you always have enough heat to make a solid weld. It's super easy to use and you don't need 240 volt outlet like some spot welders. Comes with huge roll of nickel strip so you can start making packs immediately all you need is some wire to connect a plug at the ends. If your this far in I probably don't need to mention parallel and series configurations or ohms if your buying this I assume you know the dangers of doing it wrong. With this you can make nice solid welds really quick like your supposed to that way heat doesn't soak down into the batteries so it's much safer than an underpowered unit that you have to keep repeating until the battery is hot I never had that problem. I made about ten 36volt scooter batteries out of 40 18650s each and they all work perfectly. So much better than crappy Chinese generic cells. The ones I made with Samsung batteries power my scooter five times the distance. I've gone almost a hundred miles on one charge compared to 15 with the one it came with. So battery quality matters. Don't expect to get an amazing battery out of recycled laptop cells. It will still work better than the knock offs but nothing like brand new Samsung or LG cells. I am not affiliated with Samsung or LG I am just giving information from experience but if Samsung or LG would like to send me stuff by all means. I kid.
