This is a donation boat, I will describe the boat the best I can but I won't have all the answers. The things that I noticed that need attention: 1) Needs Mainsail cover 2) Needs stanchions lifelines installed 3) Needs thorough cleaning 4) Exterior wood needs revarnishing The owner claims the Yanmar ran two years ago last time he took boat out. I tried a battery but it didnt turn over. I don't know what it needs. Our mechanic is out of town til August. We want it sold ASAP so I listed it with a low price but it is sold AS IS with no guarantees. If you can get the diesel to run good for you, you'll own a beautiful sailboat w Yanmar for a cheap price. You can do all the inspections you want but no haul outs / no sea trials. The boat is currently on a mooring ball that is not transferable. The Mooring Company may have another available ball to rent but you need to apply and pass credit check.
