2006 Infiniti M45

2006 Infiniti M45 – 104k miles (Clean Title) • Condition: • Engine was running strong with no leaks or oil consumption issues prior. • Regular maintenance: oil changes every 3,500 miles, injector cleaner every other service. • Never abused or taken to sideshows. Always garage-kept by previous older owner. • Recent Issue: • Infiniti dipsticks are notoriously difficult to read (I learned this after purchase). • After a routine oil change, I misread the dipstick and added an extra quart. • Shortly after, gray smoke began coming from the exhaust. • Mechanic and I believe the engine may have been overfilled, likely damaging the piston rings → may need rebuild or replacement. • Car still ran but would shut off when idling too long. I have not tried to restart it since and it will need to be towed. • Always babied and cared for. • Good fuel economy for a V8 (about $55 to fill up, less than my ex’s coupe). • Rare M-series with great potential, but I have too many cars to keep it
