Description
Vintage 1967 Dutch 8 Day Hermle Zaanse Wall Clock With Single Bell Strike. This clock is in a wooden case that is in fair condition. This is a chain driven clock and should run for 8 days with it's high quality Hermle 1967 movement when the brass tear drop solid brass weights are fully raised. A brass pendulum in the design of a man on a horse swings inside the clock and is visible via the glass window at the bottom of the clock. There are spaces for glass windows on both sides to view the clock workings. One of the glass pieces for the window is missing. When wound and working, strikes a single bell once on the half hour and as many times it is on the full hour. This clock is currently not working. Perhaps it is in need of a cleaning? It runs for a minute or two and then stops. With a little bit of work you can own and enjoy this highly collectible vintage clock.
