Description

Great sounding Vintage HH Scott 299C Integrated Amplifier in Excellent Condition. Unit has been cleaned, fully tested and all functions are operational. 4 new custom made electrolytic cans from Hayseed were Installed, all other out of spec caps replaced with metallized Polypropylene Films (12) Total. Prone to failure Selenium rectifier was taken out and a new Silicone rectifier was installed with dropping resistor. Thermistors were installed on the incoming AC line to drop voltage to 117v were these should be running on. All POT’s, switches and controls cleaned with Deoxit. All tube sockets were also cleaned. DC balance was adjusted. Cabinet has been cleaned as condoned with feed in wax. All tubes have been tested and replaced were necessary and are a mix branded through out. Inverter tubes were replaced with matched Raytheon 7199’s. Please see pictures for more details.
