Turned out Very nice! Top, drawer front, and bottom have been completely sanded, paint-washed and sealed with a light lacquer. The rest has been hand-painted a bright white. Solid. Drawer (1) works fine and is clean. Nice contemporary neutral style! Beachy, Boho, clean, and airy! Sturdy but not too heavy.
