This is a well-made solid maple coffee table with beautiful French provincial details by American furniture company Bassett. It is a perfect beginner project piece to paint or refinish outside while the weather is gorgeous. The coffee table features solid maple construction, rectangular top with scalloped edges, a beautifully shaped apron, and elegant cabriole legs. The table is solid and study, but the finish is worn and begs to be refinished or painted or both. I think this table would look great with a refinished wood top and the base and legs painted.
