This is a small miniature bookshelf insignia boombox with CD and cassette AM/FM CD has been tested and yes the CD goes with it as for the cassette player I do not own any so I was unable to test it the radio does work just fine it does run off of batteries or the AC cord which is included also has a headphone jack and an AUX on the back so you can definitely hook up Bluetooth device or listen in private this is a must have for a small apartment or house that likes a big sound
