Description

THIS AMP IS BEING SOLD AS A PROJECT. NO, YOU CAN’T TAKE IT HOME AND SHRED. PLEASE READ LISTING Ok, what we have here is a 1966 (I’m pretty sure) Lafayette Tube guitar amp. I have no idea what the model number is, because it’s nowhere on the amp and I haven’t been able to find one exactly like it anywhere on the internet. IT DOES NOT WORK. What’s wrong with it? I have no clue. If you plug in to it, you get a very faint sound and that’s it. That’s all I know. I took it to an amp tech, but without a schematic, he was unable to fix it. In order to find a schematic, he needed the model number. See above. The amp DOES have 2x12 Jensen Special Design speakers though. The date code on the speakers shows they were made in the 31st week of 1966. I really wanted to make this my main amp, but couldn’t get it fixed and now I need money to put into another project. 200 bucks may sound steep for a non working amp, but it’s actually a good price for 2 vintage Jensen Special Design speakers. What’s wrong with it? I don’t know What would it take to fix it? I don’t know. This is all the information that I have.
