Hand Caned Vintage Rocker

This chair has been beautifully caned and is in awesome condition. I even took a picture of the bottom so you can see everything is in place without major repairs. It does creak as all of the chairs like this do - nothing to worry about, I just always disclose anything that I think might be of concern to you even if I know it’s not a weakness of the chair. I have a dining room chair with a hand caned seat like this that was broken by guests and I was shocked to find out that it is going to cost me $300-$500 to have just that small seat redone. That shows the true value of this chair as it was caned beautifully. if I wasn’t sizing down and have run out of room it would still have a prime place in my home. I hope it can find a place in yours. As I’ve said I’m downsizing so I need to move it right along or the price would be a whole lot higher.
