Vintage Midcentury Wicker Saucer Circle Hoop Chair

Circa late 1950’s to early 1960’s. Wonderful rare original hoop chair in very good condition. Measures approx. 30.5”W x 30”D x 27.5”H. Seat height: 15.5” (Smaller chair—midcentury proportions) The wicker itself is in good condition (not dried out or brittle). It has a light covering of lacquer. One foot cover is missing. There are a couple pieces of wicker missing on the outer (from seat) rim (shown in photo), lower left edge and a place on the back where the spacing makes it look like there might be some missing, but I think it’s just the way it’s spaced. Otherwise, it’s in tact and tight. If you’re wondering about the mechanism in the back, the “clamshell,” the cast iron pieces unscrew and allow it to be taken apart for moving (I wouldn’t, as it is super cool as is, is about 70 years old and not that big to begin with!).
