Epazote- $5 for bigger pots; $3 for smaller pots Pickup in Harvey, near Chase on Lapalco Epazote is also known as Jesuit’s Tea, Mexican Tea, or Wormseed. An incredibly easy to grow annual herb that spreads easily and can grow up to 4 feet, so best to keep in a container or designated area in your garden. (You can control this by pinching the tops to stop it from flowering.) Although it prefers full sun, it will tolerate partial shade and does really well in poor soil. Few extra notes: - Helps prevent gas and bloating, especially when used for bean dishes (just add a few leaves during the final stages of cooking) - Makes a lovely tea to help with an upset stomach - May be dried for longer storage - Tastes similar to Mexican oregano Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!
