Up for sale is my 2006 Yamaha YZ250F, setup for woods riding. This has been a very fun, reliable and powerful bike. Flexible on price and open to reasonable offers. I have owned the bike for approximately one year, and in that time the entire bike has been rebuilt from the ground up, along with a full engine rebuild. Less than 15 hours of easy trail riding since rebuild with no issues. The bike has never had an engine failure, and all of the maintenance done has been purely preventative. Here is a list of what has been done to the bike - I have additional documentation/receipts to prove work upon request: 8/18/22: New FastHeads High Performance Head with DelWest Valves. 8/18/2022: New Cylinder Works 13:5:1 high compression piston. 8/18/22: New HotCams Timing Chain. 8/18/22: New HotCams Stage 1 Intake + Stage 2 Exhaust Performance Camshaft. 8/18/22: Wrench Rabbit Full Bottom end rebuild kit - New HotRods crankshaft, main bearings, transmission bearings, etc. Every SINGLE bearing in the whole engine was replaced with new, quality bearings as a preventative measure. 8/20/22: Devol Skidplate. 8/21/22: Tusk wrap-around enduro handguards. 9/05/22: Complete carburetor rebuild including mid body gasket. 9/22/22: New Primary Drive front and rear sprocket with Primary Drive O-Ring chain. 11/12/22: Fork Seals replaced with Yamaha OEM seals. 2/1/23: ProTaper Handle Bars. 2/15/23: Complete rear shock linkage rebuild done by HillBilly Cycles in Princeton with All Balls linkage rebuild kit. 3/9/23: Front and rear wheel bearings replaced with All Balls bearing kits. 3/10/23: New Tusk footpegs. 5/15/23: New front tire (Bridgestone Battlecross) and new rear tire (Tusk EMEX 45) installed. 6/18/23: New Yamaha OEM complete clutch kit with pack and springs. 7/12/23: New Tusk front and rear brake pads. All of this work is in addition to meticulous valve lash checks (they have never moved), oil/oil filter changes and air filter changes. The bike comes with extras pictured in the photos. Brand new Vertex 12:5:1 stock compression piston. New HotCams stage 2 intake camshaft. New bottom end gaskets/head gaskets. JD jet kit. Old cylinder jug (still usable). Old crank (still in spec). Extra air filter. Yamaha OEM bolt kit. The only reason I am selling is that I will likely be moving next year and not able to take it with me. Please feel free to ask any questions.
