I started building this trailer during COVID. It is registered with the DMV as how you see it in the pictures. I weighed it at a C.A.T. Scale and they told me said one of the numbers 1340 lb is how much it weighed. It tows well. It's built on a tractor supply trailer frame 5 by 8, the one with a mesh bottom. The frame is made with 2 by 3's with 1.5 in foam board insulation I'm between. Most of the plywood used is sanded plywood which is a marine grade type plywood. It has aluminum outside. It has lights with a marine battery. I've camped in it once. It is not perfect though. There are areas that need to be sealed. The steps on the bottom (outside) have some mold on it from water getting on there as well in the outside box. I took the lids off to the OUTSIDE boxes and found because I didn't seal them water got between the aluminum and plywood and found mold but never put it back. It needs to be sealed underneath the battery box because I guess water from driving hit the bottom of it and it got wet. The two doors you have to close pretty hard to close them. There are other things, it's not perfect. Overall it's a great trailer. If you have questions please let me know. 6500 obo.
