Realborn Bryson Collectible Reborn Doll

Hand painted, rooted hair, and weighted body, this baby doll comes as pictured, a finished product. Realistically painted and heavy to feel like a baby, this is the perfect cuddle buddy to anyone’s collection. This kit was made by Bountiful Baby and is a scanned copy of a real baby, made into a doll kit. This allows for features such as fingers, feet, facial expressions etc., to be more realistic. This kit is now SOLD OUT on their site, and comes blank when purchased. Each artist (myself in this case) is then responsible for painting the doll to their liking. This doll is painted as an ethnic baby and has extra soft, curly mohair (alpaca hair). Doll’s weight is approximately 6-10 pounds and comes with presented outfit, diapers, a magnetic pacifier and a blanket. Reborns have been popular since the early 2000s, and are collectors items, usually for those who adore babies, have lost a child, and are even used in movies/tv shows for child actor replacements. These dolls are NOT for play, as they are made of vinyl material that is stained with multiple layers of heat set paint. This means over-handling the doll could lead to faded paint and lost hair, if not cared for properly. Suggested ages are 10+ and to be handled with extreme care.
