Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolor - Lot of (10) .17 oz (5 ml) Tubes - NEW You're looking at (10) tubes of brand new Winsor & Newton Watercolors in (10) different colors. Please note that these are the small .17 ounce (5 ml) tubes. This lot is $40 and is available for pickup in Tigard at Brightwaters at Redhawk apartment complex roughly one mile from Tigard High School. The (6) colors you will be receiving in this lot are (see pics for further details): Naples Yellow (Series 1 - Naples Yellow is an opaque pinkish-yellow pigment and was originally a lead antimonite pigment which can be found in Babylon tiles dating 5th century BC) Cadmium-Free Red (Series 4 - Cadmium-Free Red is a blue shade red with a deep mass tone and soft, creamy undertones. A good alternative to Cadmium Red) Cobalt Blue Deep (Series 4 - Cobalt Blue Deep is the darker red shade of its sister pigment Cobalt Blue. It was discovered in 1802 by French chemist Louis Thénard as an alternative pigment to the expensive lapis lazuli pigment) Permanent Alizarin Crimson (Series 3 - Permanent Alizarin Crimson is highly transparent with a blue undertone and is a vivid red color. Introduced in 1994, Permanent Alizarin Crimson has been formulated as a highly permanent red pigment) Permanent Mauve (Series 3 - Permanent Mauve is a rich violet color with semi-transparency and lightfastness. Mauve, originally a lake pigment, was discovered in England in 1856 by Sir William Perkin) Permanent Rose (Series 3 - Permanent Rose is a bright rose violet color and a transparent quinacridone pigment that was introduced in the Winsor & Newton range in the 1950s) Raw Sienna (Series 1 - Raw Sienna is a bright brown pigment and is one of the oldest pigments that can be found in prehistoric cave art. Raw Sienna is named after Siena, Italy where the pigment was sourced during the Renaissance) Yellow Ochre (Series 1 - Yellow Ochre is a warm yellow color and it is originally made from natural iron oxides found in earth.
