1950's Elgin Military Datemaster 'Wristwatch ' for sale has been in This watch has been in my collection for quite a few years now and have decided that it's time to let it go , hopefully to the right and perfect person who'll take it and bring it back to it's original beauty and perfection. This watch is self winding and keeps near perfect time after nearly 75 years which makes this incredible timepiece a timeless addition to any watch connoisseur and a perfect Christmas gift as well ! The watch features a 17 jewel Elgin automatic (self winding) movement , specifically caliber 627. It includes a date window positioned at 6:00 below the Datemaster text. The hour and minute hands originally had lume which may have faded over time , and the sweep second hand is tipped with a red arrow.
