Wyatt Audio Nirvana Single Driver Speakers 12”

Very cool and unique tower speakers featuring Audio Nirvana 12” single drivers. All frequencies are played through the 1 driver and is a crossover-less design. This allows for the purist amp to speakers connection possible and creates incredible coherence and phase control. Audio Nirvana is a well respected speaker maker specializing in single drivers and excellent price to performance ratios. The cabinet is made by Wyatt woodworks specifically for this driver build. The company made quite a few cabinets for the Audio Nirvana speaker kits and are well regarded and beautiful. The sound signature is very open/spacious large presentation with spectacular mid range presence and tonality. The highs can be tailored to your liking with placement adjustments. Small movements can allow a brighter more forward presentation or to the opposite end with a warm/softer more laid back presentation. Setup is key with these to maximize performance, I would recommend playing around a lot when setting up and allow as much space from walls as possible. These are very easy to drive with a sensitivity rating of about 97db making them ideal for tube amplification, which brings out the real magic of these speakers. The cabinets are in good shape with a mark here and there and a couple lines in The veneer on the front of one speaker but isn’t really noticeable once setup. The drivers are in great condition and fully operational. I cleaned the binding posts and installed new internal speaker wire. I also installed a lot of additional stuffing in the cabinets controlling internal resonances. These type of speakers have a very unique openness and live performance sound that can get you lost lost in the music for hours. If you enjoy this sound it can be hard to go back to standard design speakers. Come check them out you won’t be disappointed. Has been cleaned, inspected and tested fully functional. Price is $850.
