Description

BUCKEYE MC85/MILLER If you ask- IS THIS STILL AVAILABLE? and don't reply I just block you. Today we have a cool Gretsch G5232T in the WRONG color lol! Ocean Turquoise was never offered on this model. It was offered on the G5222 which is the 'V stop' tail version. Then I noticed the serial. Gretsch site says: CYG(contact info removed)1 CY=China Yako plan G=? 23=2023 06=June 0001= 0001 to 0100 Designate prototype & one off models, sample instruments & other special instruments. I knew something was wrong....ahhh....or right. I searched ebay & Reverbs for sale and sold listing and couldn't find one single G5232T in Ocean Turquoise. The simular G5222 with the V stop dose come in Ocean turquoise. I found an article (August 2022 Guitar world) that shows the colors. 👍G5232T Electromatic Double Jet FT With Bigsby - $699- available in Broadway Jade, Fairlane Blue and Firestick Red And the V stop tail below that did come in Ocean turquoise👇 G5222 Electromatic Double Jet BT V- Stoptail - $599 - available in Black, Vintage White and Ocean Turquoise I've had over 200 guitars, worked on who knows how many but never have seen an 0001 serial number before! It was barely played ! It has one tiny ding on the back bottom, and 2 little finish cracks by the truss cover. SEE PICS. The little cracks don't always show...the light has to be just right. Look at the other head stock pics to see what I mean. It got the usual $140 setup. Find the high frets-Sand each one with 600 until the fret rocker stops rocking. Then 'lightly' dress the rest with (contact info removed) 1(contact info removed) 2(contact info removed) then polish those mothers with Mothers polish. Tighten all hardware. Adjust truss rod-relief. Cut nut hieght. Adjust action. Adjust intonation. Lemon oil the fretboard. Ect ect. Plastic still on pickups, truss cover, Master Volume cover, switch cover, back of tuners. It's a pretty cool looking Gretsch. My un-used/new white Gretsch leather strap will go with it! It will come in a Fender gig bag. See setup picture. Trades considered...maybie a player Fender? Thanks for looking and have a great day. Any questions ask. Thanks for looking! -McFly
