Description

I've had this for about 10-12 years and have had great usage from this. It is 100% functional, though, as seen in the last picture, the front glass is cracked. Glass is roughly $25 and easy to replace. I installed a new stoker feed motor 3 or 4 years ago as the previous one would occasionally stick, and the stove old go out. The hopper holds enough coal to run this as hard as it will operate for over 2 days, though the ashes need to be removed sooner than that. I ran it where a hopper was good for 76-78 hours as that was adequate for the heat desired. The only reason I am not still using it is that I finally used up several tons of coal that were in my bin. I'm a disabled veteran with a train wreck for a lower back and I can no longer handle loading the coal or disposal of the ashes as this badly aggravates my back, forcing me to go from the cane I normally use to a walker. At 52, I despise needing to use a walker! Mechanically, the stove is completely functional. Electrically, it is excellent. Physically, it could stand to be sanded and painted along with new glass. The rope seals are good and may be 4-6 years old. I'm sorry, but I have no idea which brand this is, and there is no name on it. I've done some research and have seen what stoker in operable condition have been selling for, so I am not going to give this away. You will need 2 relatively strong people to remove this from my basement. The only thing you'd be buying is the stove. I'm looking for a pellet stove as they're far easier to maintain insofar as filling and emptying them. I'll have no problem with the pound or two of ash from a pellet stove, thankfully. Therefore the stovepipe remains. I was going to advertise this for $150 - $200 MORE than my asking price as everyone wants to feel like they succeeded negotiating, but decided to post this for my bottom line. If you're looking to negotiate, please save both of us the time and effort. The price is the price. If you're looking for something less expensive, look elsewhere. Thank you.
