Description

Add a touch of Mid-Century Modern magic to your space with this striking pair of vintage wall art pieces by Masketeers Gulbrandson! Crafted in the 1960s, these teak wood and brass creations feature a majestic deer or elk duo—one with horns and one without, perhaps representing a male and female. Masketeers, founded by Erling Gulbrandson, became renowned in the 1960s for their unique designs that blended teak wood and brass in nature-inspired motifs. These pieces are fully marked on the back, showcasing the quality craftsmanship that made the company a beloved name in MCM decor. In good vintage condition, these wall pieces show minor scuffs, scratches, and a bit of brass tarnish—all wear commensurate with age. The smaller piece has a slot on its head that might have once held horns, or it could be a nod to the doe—interpret as you wish! The larger piece measures approximately 23” x 9,” while the smaller one is 13” x 14.75.” Sold only as a pair and as is, these charming vintage treasures are perfect for bringing a bit of woodland wonder into your home. Be sure to see all photos for full details!
