All though they don't look jet black, almost like graphite color or like a dark dark grey. They are leather. I was going to wrap them in white vinyl or maybe baseball leather glove color but didn't end up using them and sold my TT. They're in good shape. You could probably use them to paint a different color on and save your original. They just snap in place. As you can see they are priced like $138 dollars online.
