Atomic Bent Chetler 100 + Atomic Shift 13 Bindings + Pomoca Climb 2.0 Skins Backcountry Skiing Setup (Phantom-Treated)

Ski specs: Length: 172 Widths: 128.5 (tip), 100 (underfoot), 119 (tail) Turn radius: 18 Weight: 1700g/ski They’re great all mountain skis that are freeride oriented while still feeling at home carving down groomers. They float decently in powder at higher speeds. I don’t like them only because I’m used to riding the Bent Chetler 120’s, which are a totally different ski in terms of the riding style they favor (mine is more playful and slarvy, while the Bent 100’s want to carve more). The skis have been taken care of well (tuned every season, I ride them on the resort and in the backcountry) and have maybe 30 days on them. They also have been treated with DPS’s Phantom, which is like a “permanent wax.” While you still need to give them a hot wax every now and then, their low-wax performance is better than a ski not treated with phantom by at least 50% in my humble opinion. Phantom’s retail value is $120+ Bindings: BSL (boot sole length) setting: 292mm. If the BSL of your boots is different by more than 10mm, you’d need to get the bindings remounted, which doesn’t cost much at your local ski shop. Do not try to do this yourself unless you have formal training. Feel free to ask me if you want more explanation on this. Shift bindings are the best hybrid bindings in my opinion. They make for quick transitions from touring to skiing, they’re more stable than their competitors in my experience, and they offer solid downhill performance. Skins: I’ve taken great care of them. They’re cut for this ski and this ski only. I only have 15 or so days on them, so they still glide just fine and I haven’t had any issues with the glue’s stickiness.
