Roland XP 10 Synthesizer - no speakers

Please note, this is a synthesizer, not a keyboard. It does not have built-in speakers. However, you can connect the output to external speakers, connect to a stereo, or can be used with headphones. It is MIDI ready for connecting via an audio interface to your computer for use with Apple's Garage Band or similar sequencing / digital editing software. It is far from new, but still works well. In fact, there are some things I can do with this older synth that newer expensive keyboards cannot. This was a perfect instrument for me when I was younger and started learning how to create electronic music. It is definitely NOT a substitute for a piano if that is what you are hoping for. The keys are quite light with a lot of bounce, as is typical with synths. Does not replicate the feel of a true piano keyboard. Unfortunately the manual has long since disappeared, but it is available online on Roland's website. Let me know what else I can tell you. I had some great times playing with and learning on this keyboard when I was younger (20 years ago). I'm sure someone else can do the same still! Please take it off my hands before I move to Chicago. I don't want to move it only to have it return to a closet. :( Thanks!
