Wenonah Canoe- Jensen Design 18’6”

I’m selling a ‘82 Jensen Designed Wenonah U.S.C.A. This boat is a racing model made of Kevlar. I believe it conservatively weighs less than 40lbs. From my research and speaking to Wenonah, the last numbers on the ID reference the year built which makes this boat an 82 and one their first racing boats. It more or less has the same dimensions and profile as Wenonahs current VR-1 tandem racing boat that cost over $4,000. https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ I purchased this boat 2.5yrs ago from an older gentleman who had it stored in his garage for over 15yrs. I had it in the water once and decided I wanted to restore it. It has no leaks or damage other than normal wear and tear for a boat of this age. The seat mounts were repaired with epoxy and rails polished. Any questionable hairline cracks inside the haul got a coat of epoxy and the decals were touched up. The project has been put on hold since buying a house. Included in the sale: - two vintage racing paddles. Both are lightweight and made of wood. They show signs of wear but have been refinished. - one aluminum Wenonah paddle that I bought as a back up. - one Wenonah seat cover - patch kit - premium epoxy kit from west marine (bought this but haven’t used barely any except to refinish the paddles, seats) This is a great boat for a weekend warrior pair and/or a very cheap way to get into racing.
