This exquisite antique walking cane features a finely crafted sterling silver handle, hallmarked 'GORHAM STERLING 366'. The handle is adorned with a carved ivory shell-form cap, exhibiting natural age-appropriate crazing and patina. The shaft is composed of richly textured, natural hardwood-possibly Malacca or briar root-with a rustic, bark-like surface. Estimated to date from the early 1900s, this piece was likely a high-end gentleman's accessory. It combines premium materials with elegant craftsmanship, making it highly collectible among antique cane enthusiasts and silver collectors.
