Description

1990 Korean-made Ibanez EX Series, which were Basically 80’s RG’s made in Korea instead of Japan to reduce costs and market at a lower price point. The Korean line are still very nice guitars and are a great value, as there was barely any dropoff in quality control and they put out nice feeling and playing instruments. This is a solid player with a Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge position - this was an upgrade done by a past owner several owners removed from me and I’ve never gone down the rabbit hole of investigating exactly which SD model humbucker it is, but it sounds good and is a relatively hot pickup. Also, I took the pictures for the listing after busting a string and starting in on a restring which is why I’ve only got 5 strings on in most of the pics. Otherwise the guitar has the nut locking pieces and the high E string on there.
