I’m looking to sell my 2009 Yamaha WR250X factory supermoto. To clarify, this is not a WR250R with supermoto wheels. This bike came from the factory with the DID supermoto wheels that are mounted. I’ve owned this bike for about 2 years and, having other motorcycles, just don’t ride it much anymore. That said, it has been a fantastic bike every time I have ridden it. It always starts with ease, runs smooth, has some tasteful mods, and is current on maintenance. - 12.8k miles, clean title, registered through March 2024 - Fuel-injected 250cc single-cylinder engine (29hp/17.5tq stock) - 6-speed transmission - Rare OEM black colorway - Fuel efficient (55-70mpg depending on how you ride it) - HID headlight - Zeta handguards with integrated LED front indicators and convex mirrors - 12oClock Labs fender eliminator kit with LED tail light, plate light, and rear indicators - FMF Mega Bomb header - Yoshimura RS-4 slip on - FMF piggyback fuel tuner - Stainless steel braided brake lines front and rear - Dunlop Q3+ tires with ~500 miles on them - Barnett clutch pack and springs installed ~500 miles ago - Oil and filter changed on 3/9, chain cleaned, lubed, and slacked (bike has been ridden twice since, ~20 miles) This would make a great starter bike and is an excellent alternative to a Suzuki DRZ400SM. Despite being less powerful, it is lighter and you won’t ever have to mess with a carburetor. It does have a few minor scrapes and scuffs from being supermoto’d at low speeds, but still rides straight and true, and has been well-maintained (I’ve changed the oil 3 times despite only putting ~1,300 miles on the bike). It’s kept in a personal garage on a center stand and battery tender when not being ridden, and is just taking up space at this point. This is a really fun bike to scoot around town on and develop your skills, and it deserves more time on the road than I have been able to give it.
