~2 years old. 1 year with city water, 1 year with softened water. It is a heat pump water heater 'HPWH' ($2600 value) however the heat pump is broken, but it works perfectly as a standard electric water heater. Therefore you should only think of this as a standard electric heater. You might be able to repair it if you know what you're doing (i.e. are an HVAC pro) and if so - great!, but AO Smith do not consider it repairable and don't sell spare parts. 240v electric input. 4.8kW. The unit weighs 170 lbs even when empty. You will need a truck, and two strong people (or a tailgate / lifter) to load it up. Before use you will want to give it a flush.
