Description
I am willing to sell these pictures separately. They would be $40 a piece or $65 if you buy both. I fell in love with Carl Owen's work when I bought my framed picture of the sisters of the sun which still hangs on my wall. I'm actually going to add it to the photos so you see that I'm not selling mine. I also posted a screenshot from a site where you can buy these unframed and you can see the usual cost of just one of the prints. Your countenance, like rings of a stalwart trunk, tells the unmatched story of how you persevered and flourished in spite of bitter storms. Majestic man, enduring man of myriad visages, continue to grow strong and tall within the circle of my love. Sisters of the Sun: cosmic African woman, mighty River to whom all tributaries flow, you are my pride and my delight. From your varied faces emanates the splendor of the rarest jewels of the universe---from the lumina School of pearl to the Ruby's deepest radiant. Daughters of a common land and sisters of the sun, no matter where you flower, you are beautiful, the ultimate creation of time and circumstance, mysterious as an Egyptian cat, smooth as a cowrie shell, colorful as a strip of kente cloth, creative as braids of hair, ending and beginning nowhere that can be defined. Cosmic African woman of many faces, mighty...
