Description
Burro's tail (Sedum morganianum) is a popular succulent known for its long, trailing stems with fleshy, blue-green leaves that resemble a donkey's tail, hence its other name, donkey's tail. Native to Mexico and Honduras, it's a drought-tolerant plant that thrives in bright light and well-draining soil, making it ideal for hanging baskets, though its delicate stems easily drop leaves and flowers. Care involves infrequent, deep watering, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and providing plenty of sun, while being careful not to overwater, which can cause rot.
