2 Available - price listed per egg Magnificent Russian Imperial Faberge Style Egg. Commissioned for the Millennium. Deep translucent royal blue over wavy engine turned Guilloche background. Cast of metal with 18K gold layering plating. Authentically recreated using Peter Carl Faberge Original "Spring Flowers" Egg from the year 1890, Commissioned by Czar Alexander III, as inspiration for this design. Egg has been set with dozens of gem cut Austrian crystals. Surmounted by one large Obelisk type crystal. Egg majestically opens to reveal an inner world globe in matching enameling with continents in gold. World globe swivels on arched frame. North American continental cities are set with diamond crystals. This world globe was inspired by a similar globe in the 1913 "300 years Romanov Rule" egg commissioned by Czar Nicolas II.
