Solid gloss black, hardwood enclosure with legs. These speakers sound fantastic, rated at 150w with a peak of 600w all at 8ohms or bridge. I used a Yamaha receiver and to me they are the best sounding speakers in this price point. XT cone design with Triple 6.5" mid and low range speakers in each unit.
