Description
The donkey ear plant (Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri) is a fast-growing succulent with large, grey-green, ovate-lanceolate leaves that can be up to 20 inches long and droop like a donkey's ears. A distinctive feature is that it produces baby plantlets at the tips of its leaves, which can be easily propagated into new plants. When mature, it also sends up tall flower stalks that bloom, and its leaves have a spotted or blotchy pattern. Saplings are about 2 inches to 4inches tall
