1980's Puch Meteor Luxe Road Bike

I'm selling this 1980's Puch Meteor Luxe, Series II if that means anything to you. 58 cm from seat lug to bottom bracket, so it should fit anyone 5'7" to 6'4". It's red, so you look like you're going faster, even if you're not really going that much faster. It's actually fairly comfortable; I've ridden it on half-centuries with no pain. Some specs: • 27-inch wheels--bigger means faster, right? • horizontal dropouts if you want to convert it to singlespeed/fixed (why not, it'll be lighter) • Suntour derailleurs--they shift your gears • Dia Compe centerpull brakes--surprisingly good stopping power • 2x5 drivetrain, but the rear cassette is pretty wide and I've never had to use first gear, even on real steep hills (think Alp d'Huez but only for like 800 feet) • Shimano downtube shifters--better than stem shifters because they won't stab you • Steel Cro-Mo frame: it's got a steel curved fork for suspension. Won't snap on you like carbon (see reddit.com/r/bustedcarbon) and takes abuse without batting an eye. Real men ride steel. $200 OBO. Come on, make me an offer I can't refuse.
