The biggest upgrade on the 7 pro versus the 7 or 6, 6x and 5 series is a touch screen and a built-in flashlight which no other model has but the pro series. The pro model has touch screen, loaded with the best hiking trail maps there are and every street road and restaurant, building hose is labeled. built-in flashlight which is awesome, upgraded heart and oxygen monitoring detection, an incredible sleep score and other data. The absolute top-of-the-line model of the top of the line watch Garmin makes in the 7. The 7s pro is just the smaller size and the 7x pro is the 51 mm. After I recently got this, I decided I need the Garmin inreach Phoenix pro 8 AMOLED screen version. That model has built-in LTE satellite inreach communication capabilities. The Fenix 8 only adds voice talk features or the 8 pro which adds iridium satellite capabilities and messaging like the Garmin inreach mini 2. Forget the 6 six or 5 five series Phoenix since they do not have touch screen or flashlight. The non-pro version of the 7 seven does not have a flashlight or the upgraded heart monitoring system.
