2017 Airstream Basecamp16 footer with red rock interior basecamp travel trailer in really good condition. New AC unit ($1200) and LP/CO detector. Includes microwave ($250) and 200 watt solar charging system with interior monitor ($2100 package) as well so you can boondock away and still power your gadgets. Coffee table/bed height posts along with counter height kitchen table posts included. Wetbath with pass through external shower head to rinse of your bike or puppy. Combined black and grey tank, potable tank, water and sewer hookup, and dual use electric/LP refrigerator. Dual easy switching propane tanks, 20’ 30amp power cord, and 30’ water hose included so you’re ready to go right after you buy it! Gross vehicle weight of 3500 lbs The new basecamp models don’t come standard with AC and microwave anymore so you’re getting an upgraded basecamp with this one. They retail new for $47k but again, no solar, AC, or microwave. By the time you add those the new basecamp would have an estimated MSRP of $53,150 with shipping and surcharge fees. Then taxes on top of that. Finally you’d have to wait at least 6-8 months. Some big advantages I like about the airstream basecamp are: 1) really easy to tow. It’s small and light and doesn’t take a long learning curve if you’ve never towed a trailer before. It basically just follows your car. 2) backing up does take some time to learn but again, is really easy with a smaller airstream as opposed to the bigger ones 3) because it’s only 16ft it can fit in designated tent campsites and isn’t limited to RV or full hookup spots in campgrounds. This has been a lifesaver on several occasions where the campgrounds full hookup spots were full but they allowed me to stay and boondock in tent spots! 4) the additional rear hatch door allows you to load long paddle boards, surfboards, bikes, etc easily. I couldn’t imagine trying to load my paddleboard through a traditional airstream door. 5) the 16 ft basecamp actually has a bigger, nicer kitchen counter than the 20 ft! Clean title but there is a lien with my bank since I’m still paying off the loan on it so the bank has the title. Easy to verify, just being transparent.
