Fender American Professional Jazzmaster Sonic Grey Upgraded!

This great guitar is a bit of a one-off. It was supposed to arrive from the factory with a maple neck (MN) - serial number is included on the tag in the case. Google 2017-2019 American professional Jazzmaster Sonic Grey, and you'll see that's what they were offering in those years for this finish. They did not offer this finish with a rosewood board. This is not an aftermarket neck and the SN begins with US16, which as far as I know Fender didn't offer factory JM necks in that year. I could be wrong though. I'm the second owner and know for a fact the original owner bought it directly from Fender due to the "error" on the fretboard. I've played one with maple side by side with this one and it just felt better and sounded much nicer to me - it also contrasts the finish quite nicely. As you may have noticed there are some tasty upgrades included - Fender locking tuners, Mastery bridge and the pickups are Duncan Antiquities, can't remember if they are the original or Il version. Comes with original case and all case candy. It's set up for tens and plays super easy with them. There are a few dings I tried to capture in the pics. But, it doesn't change the fact that this beauty is an upgraded player that sounds great and stands out! More pics upon request. You can make arrangements with me to come by and try it out.
