2005 Toyota Corolla

Listing my REAL 2005 Toyota Corolla XRS!! -1/7500 ever made and sold. This car is a blast to drive and has been a wonderful sporty commuter for me for the past three years. I believe I am the fourth owner. -This STOCK car comes equipped with a six speed manual transmission, and a 1.8 L 2ZZ–GE engine that revs up to 8500 RPM. (the same engine and transmission from the Lotus Elise, and the Celica GT). It has Aluminum wheels, fog lights, 4- wheel disc brakes, a rear X-bar brace in the trunk, and a strut bar under the hood. (ALL STOCK INCLUSIONS) This car is sporty, and cleaner than most other 20-year-old cars on the market for its mileage. Other notable things; ITS A 20-YEAR-OLD-CAR - It has a Pioneer AVH-1400NEX touch screen double din head unit with a bunch of features including a backup camera/CD/DVD/Bluetooth audio. - I just put $7,000 in parts and labor into preventative maintenance - LED headlights - Tilt/slide sunroof - 25% tint windows - New tires with 71k mile warranty on them. - New battery less than 1 year old. - Some serious paint fade, but no rust at all. And, because it is silver, you don't notice it till you get close to the car, and even then it doesn't look as bad as if it were another color. - Windshield is cracked. - Engine knock The reason for the sale; -I truly do love this car, and I unfortunately spent a lot more money than I paid for the car in preventative maintenance recently because I planned on keeping it forever. ($7,000 :/ ) A week after the work was done; (clutch, motor mounts, timing belt/guides/valve cover/oil pan/water pump/etc…) the car developed a rod knock, not 150 miles later) -The engine still runs and revs, it’s a bit noisy, but the vehicle performs normally despite the sound. It has not been driven since I first noticed the knock, apart from starting it occasionally to cycle fluids, and charge battery. -I can’t commit any more money to the vehicle, I am a college student and want to purchase something with less miles, thus why I’m selling this unique Carolla. -I have a detailed maintenance record and every receipts from all of the work done on the vehicle.
