Like many other Americans, I was forced into working from home once the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Quickly, I realized I’d need to improve my conditions to perform my best. Research showed sit stand desks were optimal for health, ergonomics, & longevity. Investing was a no brainer. I tried out a few brands (I won’t name them to remain as objective as possible. I’ll let people come to their own conclusions.) but personally, I was utterly disappointed. Every single one was either: A.) Really poor quality (Sub-par finish, not very sturdy, too loud, etc.) or B.) Too expensive ($2k & up. A bit steep in my opinion, even for solid walnut) So through trial & error I devised my own solution. Since I’ve had great success with my custom set up, why not share with the world? Each desk is made to order with solid Walnut butcher block, either 50 inches ($700) or74 inches ($1000, pictured above). Each order takes 1 week to fill.
