Brauer brothers holster

This is a vintage leather snap-fastening revolver holster made by the famous Brauer Bros holster company of St Louis, Missouri, USA, probably dating from about the 1940s but could be earlier or later. This is the Brauer Bros model H15, made for the Colt Police Positive 6" barrel model, and similar small frame 6" revolvers. An old Brauer Bros holster size chart also lists the H15 for 6" models of the Smith & Wesson Regulation Police (also known as the S&W Model 30) and the Harrington & Richardson Model 922. (NB, I don't own this holster chart - it's just an image I found on the internet). This is a nicely aged vintage holster, but still very strong and sturdy. As you'd expect, it has marks, scuffs and scratches from use and wear, but it's clear and dry with a nice old leather smell. The leather is thick and very strong, despite some superficial surface cracking on the straps, as you can see in the photos.
